 Awesome story that takes you through some of what happened during the war and the capturing of the Jews.

The Wittgenstein family is away on holiday in Switzerland while the dad stays most of the time running his bank in Germany.  Her two brothers are serving in the war. Her sister and and her mother and Beata stayed at the hotel and the others would join them.  Beata meets a man from France and they fall in love.  This is not good as the two countries are fighting each other and Beata is Jewish.  They decide to marry against both families wishes and are disowned.  The story follows their story up to including the death of Antoine.  Beata ends up helping the French revolution trying to help the jews and thwart the war efforts..It even has Beata being sent to a camp

 Another fast and enjoyable read by Danielle.

The Steinbergs are a powerful Hollywood couple, he is  a major producers and she writes for a television show.  They have three children,  Allegra is an entertainment attorney with a steady boyfriend that has commitment issues.  Scott is studying to be a Dr and Samantha is a  model and still in high school.  For all that they are a nice couple with good kids.

Everything is about to blow up.  Their marriage, Allegras relationship and Samantha gets into trouble.

Any interesting story, with twists.  Three children Jim. and the twins Bob and Susan were raised by their widowed mother.  Their father killed in a tragic accident when at age 4 Bob accidently took the car out of gear and it rolled over their father. 

Years later, Jim is married has 3 grown kids and living in New York City.  He is also a high powered lawyer.  Bob also a lawyer and living in New York City and divorced.  Susan still lives in the little Maine town and is divorced and raising her teen aged son.  This son gets into trouble requiring the help of his uncles.

Can they help him?

Bluff House sits overlooking the beach in Whiskey Beach.  Landon's family has owned the home for generations.  After his wife is murdered and the police are relentless in trying to pin the murder on him, he goes to Whiskey Beach to house sit while his grandmother recuperates from a fall.  Understandably, he has cut himself off from most everyone and everything.  His grandmother has a girl that comes in and helps her and she begins to break through to Landon.  Then things start happening, someone breaks into bluff house and a PI is murdered.  And, it all starts up again.

A high powered Hollywood couple and their children disappear.  Jack and his PI company called Private are called in to investigate.  Add random murders happening around the city.  Also, his brother Tom gets into trouble and could try to implicate John in a murder.

Another awesome read by Debie.  Very quick read.

It follows two friends from college all through their marriages, divorces, single parenthood and dating.  They use their red light, yellow light and green light to describe their dates and futures. 
They had planned a trip to Paris after graduation, which was put on hold when Maureen got pregnant and then married.  They are still planning that trip.

An awesome read by Nicholas.  Really enjoyed this story.

What would you do if you met your soulmate while being broke up from your long time love?  You have to make a decision, he lives in another country. 

Hope has to make that decision.  In North Carolina there is a place called Sunset Beach.  There they have put up a mailbox next to a bench.  Anyone is free to read what is inside and or leave their own messages.  Hope takes Tru to see this and they read the messages.  He understands when she chooses to stay and he returns to Africa and continues his work as a safari guide.  Will they ever reconnect?

All of Dotty's books are awesome,  its bitter sweet to read this after she has passed away.

Another story set in the low country.  Frederick is currently working and living in Chicago and recently engaged.  Her family is very wealthy. His family owns and runs a local peach farm and farm stand where they sell their home grown produce and bakery items as well as soups and flowers etc.
His mom is single and his family is not wealthy.  However, the engaged party is held at the orchid. 
It carries you through the wedding planning and the downfall of her family.

The Quinn family owns and runs a bread and breakfast.  One son is home after being injured while serving in the military. He is having a rough time.  His dad is dying and he is living at the inn with his dad and step mom.  His mom lives in New York, and the adults have got to where they are all friends.  He has several siblings and they are all rallying around Bart and their dad.  The story goes from October through December. This is a great story of family and forgivness.

Theodora is getting up in age, in her nineties.  Her daughter and son live with her.  Everyone is so busy now.

Then  a housekeeper arrives to temporarily fill in when their housekeeper has a family emergency.  Low and behold it is Pearl the housekeeper of Theodora's childhood.  Long since passed on.  She gets to work on the family weaving her special magic and soon all is right.

I found this book hard to stay with.  Maybe because there was so many different things happening or maybe the ghosts and psychics.

Melanie is a real estate agent about to return to work after a long maternity leave following the birth of her twins.  Her husband is  a writer and her step daughter is a song writer.  They all live in an old historical house in Charleston.

Jayne comes to Melanie's office one day saying she inherited a historical house and wants to sell it.  She hates old houses and is terrified to even go in.

I love Christmas, this is a story set around Christmas.

In a small shrimping village in South Carolina, lives the McClellan's.  Dad has the largest shrimp boat but has had to dock it.  He can no longer afford to run it.  Mom is a substitute teacher and cleans houses.  Miller is 10 and his brother Taylor is a marine recovering at a hospital from his injuries.  Taylor is coming home for Christmas and is going to be Miller's present, although he desperately wants one of his friends puppies.  Money being tight he is told no.

Awesome story about Alaska and love.

A remote island in Alaska is open during the summer and only a few hardy people stay all winter, as the only in is by boat or seaplane.  Josie takes the job as chef at the lodge and is excited to be able to create new dishes with the local food.  After the summer she is due to become a chef at a new restaurant opening in Seattle.    She meets Palmer a quiet local who lives on the island full time.  He turns out to be a swordsmith and is known across the country.  They meet and fall in love however she has this job waiting...

Will she leave?

Another excellent story by Dottie.

This is about three generations of women, grandma Maisie who is 80, her daughter Liz and her daughter Ashley. This is a well to do family, even though Ashley is doing her best to make it on her low wage job by living in the family beach house, which is in need of repairs. She lives there with her best friend.  Ashley's brother lives in California and is in a relationship that is not readily accepted.

Ashley and her friend cook up a scheme to throw parties at the beach house to view the sun set.  They provide refreshments and entertainment for a  cover charge.  Praying Ashley's parents do not find out.

Throw in an abusive boyfriend and a hurricane what else could happen?

Another great read by Dottie, May she rest in peace.

Adam and Eliza have twin boys and a good life.  They are on vacation in the Isle of Palms at the beach.  Where they are renting a condo.  Suddenly a face from the past shows up, Eve who was Adams girlfriend while they were teenagers.  She is married and has a little girl.  Adam invites them to stop by for a glass of wine and from there the couples and kids become fast friends.  Although Eliza and Carl do not know that Adam and Eve were once lovers.  Years go by as they all meet up at the condos, which they both ended up buying.  Getting away from the heat of Charleston.  They have ups and downs then one day Carl and Eve happen to be at their condos alone and Adam ends up consoling her as she thinks Carl is having an affair.  Nothing happens but it looks like it did as Carl arrives and finds them asleep on the couch.

Will they survive?
