An interesting look into Amish culture. Rachel is staying with her 7 year old niece, Holly; while her folks are on vacation. It is Christmas time and they are taking advantage of everything the city has to offer. Then Rachel's brother and sister in law are killed in a plane crash. How are they going to go on? Rachel of course will become Holly's guardian and quit her job to care for her. Then unexpected news of another being named Holly's legal guardian, her aunt that no one knew about. She is to deliver Holly to her aunt within a week, and it turns out they are Amish.
Will Holly adapt to the Amish way of life? Can Rachel live without Holly, her only living relative?
