A first read of a story by Allison, and I will continue to read her books. Even though I have not read the stories leading up to this one-that will not stop me from reading those.
The Kincaid family has 7 grown children, all of which are in law enforcement of some sort.
From FBI to a mercenary. Their father was career military and their mother is Cuban.
The children are all headed to their folks to spend Christmas, the first time they will all be together in some time. The book is broken up into 3 stories.
The first story has Patrick stopping to check on a family friend and has him finding love for the first time since he woke up from his 2 year coma. As well as involved in investigating a missing teenager which leads to human trafficking.
Then Lucy and and her boyfriend and her brother Dillion and his wife Kate are stranded in Denver because of a blizzard. They end up helping to investigate 3 murders.
And, finally the last story is Carina is taken hostage and the attempt to stop further murders.
All three stories tie in together.
