DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW by Debbie Macomber

 Another great Christmas story by Debbie.

Ashley is  a grad student in California who unexpectedly got the Christmas holiday off from work.  She decides to surprise her mom a widow, in Seattle.  However, upon arriving at the airport there was no flights.  Another person a guy, named Dash also was trying to get to Seattle for a job interview.

They both end up at the car rental agency with only one car left.  They decide to travel together.  All kinds of mishaps happen, from finding a puppy, to being chased by the FBI

 Daisy's dad married Sages mom, Daisy was so happy to be getting a new sister and mother.  Unfortunately, it did not turn out that way.

Now a long time later the two girls meet back up.  Their youngest sister needs them both   can Sage get over her jealousy of Daisy's wealth?   Can they all become sisters?

 Always a great story by Danielle.

What would you do if your 17 year old son died on prom night?  His family and is girlfriends family have to come to terms with his death.  Johnny appears to his mom and actually helps her to get through the terrible loss. She almost dies due to an illness and that is when he comes to her in her dreams.

 How far would you go to find your perfect match?  Would you pay a matchmaker?

That is exactly what Cassie did.  He is very exclusive and doesn't take on anyone that can pay.  

Cassie meets with him and he accepts her as a client, he has three tasks for her to complete before he introduces her to her match.  Be a bell ringer, also an elf and finally host Christmas dinner for her unlikeable neighbors.

Can she pass the tests?

CHRISTMAS LETTERS by Debbie Macomber

 Another win.  A great story by Debbie.


This is the story of a lady who writes folks Christmas letters on the side while looking for a job in her field.  She is single.  Her sister is married with twin girls and until recently they were well behaved children.  But, her sister read a book by a guy who believes children should set their own boundaries and now they are out of control.  What's more he doesn't think they should be told or allowed to continue the myth of Santa.  Of course, she hates this and does not agree with her sister.

One day she actually runs in to the author and finds our he lives in her building.

 Another fast and fun read by Debbie. If you love Christmas, you will enjoy this book.


Shirley, Goodness and Mercy are sent on another mission to Earth.

  Mercy needs to ease an older mans worry before he passes.  His wife is older and is having trouble with her memory and would like to have her future settled before he dies.

Goodness is in charge of a woman who is afraid to commit again to anyone.

Shirley has what appears to be a simple task of granting a boys wish for a dog and watching Mercy and Goodness.

PICNIC IN SOMEDAY VALLEY a Honey Creek Novel by Jodi Thomas

 An easy read.  Marcie sings and works in a bar in a small town.  Brand comes in sometimes to listen to her.  Marcie is poor and lives in a rundown trailer across the road from the bar. One night Brand comes to her rescue when some drunks go after her.  

In nearby Honey Creek, Marcie finds friends and a place to live and a job.  


Will, she and Brand get together?  Is she truly safe from those bad guys?
