ESCAPE by Barbara Delinsky

This story is about a young married lawyer who "escapes" New York and her life.   She is burned out, so she returns to the home town of her college room mate.   She returns to confront some things, such as her nightmares of the coyote.   Her college room mates family owns a pet refuge and is where she spent time helping out and discovering coyotes.   Also, her room mates brother was her ex boyfriend.
I found this book slow going and finally quit reading it.   It is not bad just could not hold my interest

NOW YOU SEE HER by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge

One of the best Patterson books I have read.  Enjoyed the settings, Key West and New York.
What do you do when you are a college senior and while on spring break accidently hit and kill a man?   Why, drop out of school and marry the police officer that helped you; of course.  But, is her new husband everything he  appears to be?
An awesome thriller about a woman fighting for her life.

A TURN IN THE ROAD by Debbie Macomber

A fun read.  True to Debbie's style.   I enjoyed this book as grandma, mom and daughter hit the road for a road trip.  Lots of interesting twists and turns along the way.  They are going to grandmas 50th class reunion in Florida and they live in Washington state.  This brings in some characters from the blossom street series.  Grandma is hoping to reconnect with her high school boyfriend, mom is trying to decide whether or not to take back her ex husband.  And, her daughters boyfriend just left for a year in Europe without her.

BEACH LANE a Chesapeake Shores Novel by Sherryl Woods

Another great story with the O'Briens.  In this story, you will travel along with Susie and Mack.  They have been dating for a while but are not going anywhere serious.  Then one day Susie finds out she has cancer.  Will she survive?   What will become of her and Mack's "friendship"?   With Mack unemployed and not wanting to continue with the relationship until he is.
Once things settle down, Mack's old "friend" comes to town to help him with his new adventure and well as you can guess,  Susie is not thrilled.
It is a good story, but a little predictable.

ONE SUMMER by David Baldacci

A great read by David.   Sometimes I bog down in his books but this one held my attention and I enjoyed it.   Get ready for all range of emotions.
You have the story of a young father Jack who after several tours overseas with the military and several injuries has been diagnosed with a fatal disease and has just a little while left.  He is married to Lizzie and they have 3 children.  It is Christmas time and Jack begins to write letters to Lizzie for her to have and read after he passes away.  Then the unthinkable happens, as Lizzie goes to pick up Jack's medicine; she is in a fatal car wreck.   Jack is put into hospice and the children scattered out to Lizzie's family.   Do you believe in miracles?  Because 1 is about to happen.

SOUTHERN COMFORT by Fern Michaels

I had forgotten how much I enjoy Fern's mystery/love stories.   You will meet several DEA agents.  Set in the Florida Keys you will have the story of Tick Kelly and the loss he sustained, he left his job as a detective in Atlanta and moved to the Keys.  He has a pet bird-"bird" who is bilingual.  His twin brother is Pete.  Near where Tick lives is a mansion/compound.   What is up with that?  DEA agents along with the Florida Governor round out this quick read.

10th ANNIVERSARY a women's murder club story by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro

Another fine story by this duo.   The chapters are short and sweet, giving you a perfect stopping place when you need to stop reading.  It follows along the lives and careers of 4 friends, Lindsay who is a police detective, Yuki assistant district attorney, Cindy a reporter and Claire who works for the medical examiner's office.  A wonderful suspenseful story that will have you following the search for a newborn baby boy,  a serial rapist and a murder case.
