 An easy read.  Marcie sings and works in a bar in a small town.  Brand comes in sometimes to listen to her.  Marcie is poor and lives in a rundown trailer across the road from the bar. One night Brand comes to her rescue when some drunks go after her.  

In nearby Honey Creek, Marcie finds friends and a place to live and a job.  

Will, she and Brand get together?  Is she truly safe from those bad guys?

 Another win by Danielle.

Olympia is a  busy lawyer, married with three children.  She has three children from her first marriage and one by her current.  All good kids.  Her husband is Jewish and is a judge.  His parent were in the holocaust.  Olympias first husband was from a wealthy family as well as Olympia. As such she came out as a teenager and now she has received an invitation for her twin girls.  She is excited as it was a special night for her   Will this work?  Will the family be excited?

 This is set across years with flashbacks to 1968.   A lot of back and forth.   A lot of historical moments included.  Whitney is one of two daughters born into a wealthy family and spends summers on Martha's Vineyard.  The summer of her 21st birthday she is there and planning her wedding.  Where she meets a new friend a boy.

 Another win by Debbie.

In this story, you have a family falling apart.  Bruce who has a teenage daughter and his wife Rachel who is pregnant with their first child.  Jolene his daughter liked Rachel prior to marriage, but since it is constant trouble.  Causing enough drama that Rachel leaves and doesn't give any information on where she was.  She ends up staying with an old friend while she decides what to do.  

Will Bruce be able to see the trouble that Jolene has caused?  Will he be able to put a stop to it and reconnect with Rachel.

 Excellent sequel to book one.

You have the same three main characters, Roz, Stella and Hayley  and of course the men.

This book centers on Roz and the ghost and figuring out who she is.  Also, Roz's ex who is bound and determined to make her pay for cutting him off.

BLUE DAHLIA-book 1 of In The Garden by Nora Roberts

 An interesting and fast read from Nora.  It has mystery and love.

Stella is a widow and has two young sons to raise.  Her father and stepmother live in Memphis, where she was born.  Her mother lives in another state and Stella decides to move to be near her father.  She loves to garden and applies to get a job at a garden center.

Roz is the owner of the garden center as well as a stately old mansion, thats been in the family for generations.  And, includes a ghost.  she is also a widow and has three adult sons but besides her there is only David-her sons friend that lives in the house.

Hayley is a distant cousin to Roz and shows up unannounced and pregnant.
