A story of three girlfriends.  Two are married and one is single, they met at fitness class. Nicole owns the fitness company and is their instructor, she is married with a small son.  Her husband up and quits his job to write a screenplay.  He rarely helps out either with the housework or their son.  Shannon is a high level executive and not married, she has not been able to find someone that will accept her career.  Pam is married and the oldest of the three, married with three grown children and a cute dog.
Will Nicole's husband start to help out?  Will Shannon find love?  Can Pam bring the romance back to her marriage?

LAST ONE HOME by Debbie Macomber

A family with three daughters is torn apart when one runs away and gets married.  She is pregnant and they move clear across the country.  She is kept isolated in an abusive home life.  She finally gets the strength to flee with her daughter and get a divorce.  They work hard for everything they have and when her parents die she reaches out to the family only to be shunned.  Will she be able to make it on her own?  Will she be able to reconnect with her sisters?
As usual for Debbie this is a fast and enjoyable read.

COUNTRY by Danielle Steel

A very quick and fun read, taking you into the life of a major country music star.  He happens to meet a widow on the trail in the Grand Canyon and a friendship starts up.  Chase is very down to earth for a major star and Stephanie is still trying to find her way after the sudden death of her husband.  Their three adult children all seem to be mad at her and blaming her.  She is not having an easy time.

THE RUMOR by Elin Hilderbrand

Two best friends Madeline and Grace live on Nantucket.  They are both married and have children.  In fact Madeline's son is dating one of Graces daughters. One thing Nantucket loves is to gossip.  Madeline is a novelist and stuck for a story to meet her deadline.  Her husband is a piolet.  Grace is heavy into gardening and raising hens and is a stay at home mom, her husband is a real estate agent. They all seem to have ideal lives, then rumors start over innocent things and everything gets out of hand.

This book took a little for me to get into

BEACH TOWN by Mary Kay Andrews

Have you ever wondered what it was like to work as a movie location scout?   This is the story of Greer and that is her job.  She has to find a small beach town for an upcoming movie and then convince people to let them film there.  She finds the perfect location in Cypress Key, Florida.  Unfortunately for her she runs into some road blocks.  Throw in a young rock star as the male lead and all kinds of trouble follows. Greer's parents divorced when she was young and has had no contact with her father since, to her recollection.  As luck would have it he lives a short distance away.

We paid $36.12

We ordered appetizers for lunch, 2/3 net catch garlic shrimp, frizzled onions, popcorn shrimp, sweet tea.  The garlic shrimp was very good and a good size portion, we couldn't finish the onions and the popcorn shrimp had a zing to it as they are fried with peppers.
Good food and good service.

We ordered coffee, hot cocoa, French toast, hash browns and a senior rise and shine.
Food is always good and good service. It's a ways from the main casinos in Biloxi, but worth the drive if you want something familiar.  It is usually busy.
