A WESTERN WINTER WONDERLAND by Cheryl St. John, Jenna Kernan and Pam Crooks

This is 3 books in 1.  All set in the 1880's in Colorado or Montana.  All 3 have a recipe as well.
CHRISTMAS DAY FAMILY by Cheryl St. John is the story of a woman who runs a boarding house and after turning down the proposal of an old family friend, is set to live out her life alone.  But, the new Dr. shows up to live at her house until his house is ready and brings his 2 small children.  Is it possible that she may get the life she dreamed about?
FALLEN ANGEL by Jenna Kernan is about a divorcee with a small son.  She ends up being shot by a bounty hunter-who was shooting a criminal.  Her small son saved the bounty hunters life by warning him.  He now feels obligated to stay until she is healed.  Can he open his heart after his own tragedy?
ONE MAGIC EVE by Pam Crooks is the story of a man with a small son.  He did not know he fathered a son until the boy arrives on his door step.  The son meets the local- shall we say fallen woman-or so the town assumes-and he trusts her.  Can this father and son become a real family?
Throw in Christmas, snow and mountains and you have 3 short stories that make me remember all the Christmases we spent in Colorado.
Although these were quick reads, I kinda bogged down couple times

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS by Brenda Novak, Day Leclaire and Molly O'keffe

This is 3 stories in 1.   I really liked the first story, the 2nd story was slow going and the 3rd has some language I could have done without.
On a Snowy Christmas is the story of 2 political adversaries on a private plane to a political event on a snowy night not long before Christmas.  The plane goes down and they are stranded in the Sierra Nevada during a blizzard.  Will they survive, will they work together to live?
The Christmas Baby is slow going.  2 ex lovers are thrust back together after a baby is left on her doorstep.  With a note saying his last name and the baby even looks like him.  This is a story of volatile emotions.  Is the baby his?  How will it end?
The Christmas Eve Promise is about a girl who returns home after the breakup with her fiance, she is broke and more important pregnant.  She has not told anyone other than her ex fiance who wants nothing to do with the baby.  Being back in her home town she runs into an old friend that she hurt badly.  What will happen?
