READY- MADE FAMILY- Wings of Refuge by Cheryl Wyatt

This is an inspirational fiction romance book.  It was nice to read something without cuss words. It was a quick read and predictable but I enjoyed it.
You have Amelia North and her daughter Reece.  They are headed to a new life in Missouri, when Amelia has an accident and winds up in the hospital.   After the accident, when 5 year Reece went looking for help she ran into Ben Dillinger; who happens to be with an Air Force pararescue team.  Amelia has trust issues as her parents have rejected her, Reeces father and her church rejected her.

MONTANA by Debbie Macomber

Having lived in Colorado, I looked forward to reading a book about the wide open spaces and mountains and ranches of Montana.  Here you will come to know Molly Cogan  and her sons Tom and Clay as they arrive at her grandfather Walt Wheaton's ranch.  His foreman Sam Dakota had called to tell her that her grandfathers health was declining.  Will the boys adjust to life in a very small rural town in Montana after living in California?

Couple of times this book seemed to skip ahead and I found myself checking the page number to be sure I hadn't turned to many pages.  Other than that I enjoyed the story.

and are inspiring stories of reassurance for those at that stage of life.  It also, gives meaning and understanding to those of us left behind.

WYOMING WIDOW by Elizabeth Lane

This is a Historical Romance and the first I have read by Elizabeth Lane.  I want to start by saying I usually don't like this type of stories.  But, this is a quick and easy read and I enjoyed it alot.   Cassandra a widow and pregnant, ends up on the run from her landlord.  Enter the Tolliver family, who have been searching for son Ryan; who is missing.  His half brother Morgan is part Shoshone Indian.  Their father Jacob-who has not much longer to live.   And, the family of Chinese who live and work for the Tolliver's.  Throw them all together and what do you get-a fun story

FIRE AND RAIN by Diane Chamberlain

An interesting book centered around the fires in California.  You have a very small town named Valle Rosa, in the midst of a severe drought and fires in and around them.  Their mayor a hometown man who once was a pitcher in the major leagues, Chris Garrett.  His ex wife Carmen Lopez who is a television reporter.  Chris' secretary, Mia and the stranger Jeff.  Jeff tells Chris he can make it rain.  Is that possible?  Will Carmen exploit Jeff to win back her spot at the network?  Oh, and then there is little Dustin-Chris and Carmen's son.
This book was a little slow going for me.
